Comprehensive Health Guarantee
Every Rolling Hills Doberman puppy is protected by our comprehensive 2-year genetic health guarantee. We stand behind the health of our puppies because we invest significantly in health testing, quality nutrition, and veterinary care from the moment they are born.
Our Health Testing Protocol
Prevention begins with thorough testing. Every dog in our breeding program undergoes extensive health screening to minimize the risk of hereditary conditions in their offspring.
Cardiac Evaluation
All breeding dogs undergo comprehensive cardiac screening including echocardiograms and Holter monitoring to screen for Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM), a condition that can affect Dobermans.
Hip & Elbow Evaluation
OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) certified hip and elbow evaluations ensure our breeding dogs are free from dysplasia, promoting healthy skeletal development in puppies.
Von Willebrand Disease Testing
DNA testing for Von Willebrand Disease Type 1 (vWD), a bleeding disorder that can affect Dobermans, ensures all our puppies are either clear or at most carriers.
Thyroid Panel
Comprehensive thyroid testing screens for hypothyroidism, helping ensure proper metabolic function and overall health in our breeding program.
