Health Guarantee
All Rolling Hills Doberman puppies come with a comprehensive 2-year genetic health guarantee. This guarantee covers hereditary and congenital health conditions that significantly affect your puppy's quality of life.
If a covered condition is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian within the guarantee period, we will provide a replacement puppy of equal value, subject to availability. The original puppy must be returned to us or surrendered to a shelter with veterinary documentation.
Non-Refundable Deposits
A deposit is required to reserve your puppy. All deposits are non-refundable as they secure your puppy and remove them from availability for other families.
- • Deposit amount: 50% of puppy price
- • Deposits may be transferred to a future litter if circumstances change
- • Transfer requests must be made at least 2 weeks before scheduled pickup/delivery
Replacement Puppy Policy
In the event of a verified genetic health issue covered by our guarantee:
- • Contact us immediately with veterinary documentation
- • We will verify the diagnosis with our veterinarian
- • A replacement puppy will be offered from the next available litter
- • Buyer is responsible for shipping costs for the replacement puppy
Buyer Responsibilities
To maintain the health guarantee, buyers must:
- • Schedule a veterinary exam within 72 hours of receiving your puppy
- • Maintain all recommended vaccinations on schedule
- • Provide proper nutrition, shelter, and care
- • Not breed the puppy unless purchased with breeding rights
- • Keep the puppy at a healthy weight
- • Notify us immediately of any health concerns
Conditions Not Covered
The health guarantee does not cover:
- • Injuries, accidents, or trauma
- • Illnesses caused by parasites, viruses, or bacteria contracted after delivery
- • Conditions resulting from neglect or improper care
- • Allergies or food sensitivities
- • Umbilical hernias, undescended testicles, or minor cosmetic issues
- • Any condition caused by overfeeding, obesity, or over-exercise
- • Behavioral issues or temperament concerns
When Refunds Do Not Apply
We do not offer refunds under the following circumstances:
- • Change of mind after purchase
- • Allergies in the buyer's household discovered after purchase
- • Landlord or housing restrictions discovered after purchase
- • Lifestyle changes (new job, moving, etc.)
- • Puppy's size, color, or appearance not meeting expectations
- • Any non-health-related reason for returning the puppy
We encourage all buyers to carefully consider their commitment before purchasing. Adopting a Doberman is a 10-15 year responsibility.
